Call for Young Professionals Symposium

The MLSys 2026 Young Professionals Symposium (YPS) will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, as part of the 9th Conference on Machine Learning and Systems, at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Washington.

YPS is a single-track, full-day event featuring keynotes, invited talks, panel discussions, and poster sessions. The symposium is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as early-career researchers in both industry and academia.

Important Dates

  • Submission Opens: March 14, 2026
  • Submission Deadline: April 18, 2026 (11:59 PM AoE)
  • Author Notifications: April 30, 2026
  • Symposium: May 18, 2026

Submission Guidelines

We invite submissions of a 1-page abstract (PDF) describing new research, previously published work, or work that is currently under review elsewhere. Both completed work and work-in-progress are welcome.

Submissions are non-archival, meaning there will be no formal proceedings.

All submissions will be reviewed using a double-blind review process. Please do not include author names or affiliations in the abstract.

Authors of accepted abstracts will present their work during an in-person poster session.

Registration

You can use the registration pass for the full conference to participate in YPS. For students, we provide a special one-day pass. For more details on pricing and registrations, please refer to the MLSys.org website.
